Native Plant Orders

We stick to the classics here at Fraser's Thimble Farms, and we don't offer any e-commerce options. To place an order, please download our PDF order form.

How to Submit an Order

We will be taking orders for Native plants for pickup at the Nursery (Pickup dates start April 2nd).

To place your order: First download the PDF spreadsheet, Make sure you fill out the bottom of the form with your name, address, preferred pick up date, and email address. The cost of your order will be calculated as well as the deposit required. Next, you should save your order and email a copy to thimfarm@telus.net. We will email you back and confirm your pickup date and what we anticipate will be available and then you can e-transfer a deposit to us to hold the order. Items added after Feb10th will be marked in Red.

Please do not order an item for pick in April that will not be ready until June (place a separate order for June pickup).

FAQ:

What if a plant is not available or not ready?

We do our best to guess when a plant will be ready when we confirm your order but that can be affected by things out of our control (eg. Rabbits, Deer, Mice, Slugs, Rats, Squirrels, Jack Frost etc. )

What if I want to add to the order?

Additions are welcome but give us plenty of notice.

What happens to my deposit if I reduce or cancel my order?

You will be issued a gift certificate that can be used at the nursery ( We have 3.5 acres in plants and thousands of plants to choose from).

Can I shop at the nursery when I pickup my order?

Yes, we have a full nursery that is open to the public.

Why are you taking preorders?

We have limited space at the nursery and need to transition crops on a faster rotation, especially the crops that take more than seven years to grow. This will allow us to grow more plants in the nursery.

Do you guarantee plants will grow?

No, you can kill a plant in days by over watering or underwatering or even by fertilizing it (in the case of some carnivorous plants). In some cases we have grown a plant for more than a decade and can't be responsible for what happens to a plant once it leaves the nursery. We are happy to advise you on how we look after the plants in our nursery.
